Well since my last update, well were do i start. Just been having a fucking good time, driving my mates band around in their old ambulance has been a good laugh. Had a few gigs, the last being a local show at the venue we first started out in. Was an awesome gig, got a good review in the local press, saying we stole the show.

Works going well, and the band is going even better, got two more new songs, hoping to go back in the studio soon after the summer maybe to record them.

Had a guy from Belgium who is starting up a label is interested in signing us to it, and he runs a recording studio in london, so thats cool. Also may have a management company checking us out soon...I hope.

Got my download tickets today, and also signed Shadow Aspect up for the download myspace competition which we could win a slot on the friday.

In a couple of weeks is Down at the Astoria, that night is gonna make my year, and also meetimg up with my old welsh chum Mike and his Mrs Nicky that day.

I can only really remember what I have done recently, must be the weed. I remember the weekend at the tap, best night there in ages. I was chatting with all the females, well just giving them flyers, but it did end up with Stuart getting off with a girl, and me getting told I have a magic Banana in my pants, and just a fucking kiss on the cheek before she left.

We met up with them again Tuesday at the Command House for Stuarts gig, and they pissed us off, well the one that got off with Stuart did.

Think i need a fucking update.....well tonight i went with jade, lee, and charlotte to the mighty boosh for the second time, lee the fucker got me pissed, as i am drunk now. it was a good night, good seeing brixton academy with seats, and good seeing the boosh again.

last night i went out to canterbury and got drunk in the hob goblin with stu, grant and adam, and stayed at adams house, then spent today taking the ambulance for its MOT which it passed and sitting in on the heavy beatings recording session before leaving for the boosh.

er since my last update i can't remember what i have done except the party on sat night. i went with lee, burt and chris, the three craziest people i have met, well chris has an excuse considering he had a motorbike accident which ended in him being sectioned because he threatened to kill his family and friends, but people say he is ok now.

we got well wasted, and lee puked all over his fronto room, then lee and burt pissed all over each other, then lee and burt nearly set the kitchen on fire, then we set a smoke bomb of and two fire engines got called out, then the house got trashed, and to top it off it got burgled at about 2 in the morning, and i sat there and watched a load of chavs nick stuff. the police got called out and i hand to give a statement, not good when u are stoned. then in the morning to top it off lee pissed all on his curtains. i felt well sorry for the guy.

and thats about it...except i am glad lionel is back today, i well missed him even tho he has been away since sat.

What a fucking year, just found out today that DOWN are touring, one of my dreams is finally gonna come true. Then soon after I am off to download.

Had a really eventfull wednesday and thursday, i am knackered now, and i still have an eventfull 2 days ahead of me.

Tuesday i didn't really do much except teach and go to rock school, so nothing to report.

Wednesday was spent driving the heavy beatings down to deal again for their band practice in their old style ambulance with its own authentic bed. It was a typically funny day as usual, and luckily the Vanbulance didn't break down or go wrong this time, gotta drive it sat to their gig as well so i hope it holds out. I also managed to get back in time for band practice, and we pretty much mastered the song before the aspect gig on friday with Corpro records Black metal band Artisian and Descent.

Now today, well actually yesterday but i am still up from yesterday, Stuart, Lee, and Myself went to London as Lee wants to buy a new Gibson Les Paul Guitar, so we trecked to Denmark street to check out guitars. We arrive at the Dome in the morning, and caught the underground to Bond street and walked to near the London Astoria (which sucked coz i found out Trivium were playing that night). On the way we went into Pizza hut for the all u can eat and unlimited drinks, all three of us got our moneys worth. I felt ill afterwards after loads of pizza and 4 glasses of coke. We left and went off to find Denmark street, when half way round my insides started to gurgle and i had to quickly run to the shitter, and you probably know the rest. Well that run to the shitter happened 3 times that day, and the same happened to Lee later that day, but he was alright as he regularly shits himself. (that sounds sick but its true, as a youngster lee worked out the famous trick of sucking in air through your arse and farting, from what people told me as i didn't know him at school he did this all the time, which means now he has problems with his arse, and his arsehole can't control what comes out, so a night out with lee will result in him just pulling his pants down in the street and shitting (and no he don't wipe), or shitting himself, but he thinks its funny, and so do we).

Anyway after spending about an hour finding denmark street we spent about 30 mins there and bought 0 guitars. so we were in london, near soho, nothing to do except have a look round. We first went to the pub for a pint, then i wanted to show them soho and its sights. We ended up in the adult part, and then ended up being hounded by a bloke wanting to get us into a strip club. He told us it was 5 quid each to get in and watch 6 live sex shows. So we said yes, and lee paid our entry, which he gave the bloke 20 quid. 3 of us, £5 each, he never gave us change. Anyway we went downstairs into this dark red room with a pole and a lady showed us to our seats (we was the only people in there). she gave us a menu and it said you have to buy a drink each, and pay a hostess fee, then after that drinks where free. two beers was £16, and a coke was £4, plus the £35 hostess fee. We ended up paying £65 quid in total. We also asked about the short change, but the bloke came downstairs and accused us of lying, so we just basically said sorry was a mistake and all was forgotten, because we knew that we was being watched. Anyway the lady who served us changed the track and got up onto the pole, basically got naked, showed us her tits and fanny, got dressed then sat down. she told us that was the only show we would see unless anyone else came in, which no one did for about an hour, whiched sucked as the other stripper was wearing some nice stockings. Eventually a bloke came in and paid and the stockings chick showed us her tits and fanny. The first girl was much sexier. Straight after we left, and as we walked out the door we got jumped on by a bloke claiming the strip bar we went to was a rip off (which was true) and that he knew a better and cheaper one. At the time this bloke was being watched by a police van, and they watched us walk away with him. anyway he showed us this club and how much they charge etc, then came out and said to us what he did for a living (explaining the reason for the police watching him). He was a pimp in the area, a really nice pimp, was a friendly bloke, he also offered us either a blowjob from one of his girls or a fuck for £30 each. We turned him down.

Basically from their we went back to the car then drove to lionels. At lionels we watched a pirate copy of the new film "Hostel". Was fucking weird, seemed like it was made to look low budget, and a ok start which contained shit loads of fucking and tits, then a pretty violent ending. It wasn't as i was expecting, it was filmed and set in Amsterdam and Bratislava. We also had a chinese too.

Thats my two days. Tommorow (friday) my band shadow aspect are playing the command house, and i am driving the ambulance to gravesend so the beatings can play the red lion, then off to a all night party afterwards.

Had a hectic weekend, was my mums birthday last thursday so we went to my bros house in redhill for saturday night...went to some organic pizza place and sunday went ten pin bowling...me being me decided to get wasted.


Friday i went to lionels for the night, bought two boxes of muffin mix as lionel had solids, so we thought we would make hash cakes, but that never happened so we are gonna do it sometime this week hopefully. That ended up being a pretty chilled night.

Last wednesday we had a pretty good band practice, best in ages, got our new song finished and started on a new one, both are well good, much heavier and simpler then our ones we play live at the moment.

Today my download ticket was ordered, can't fucking wait, especially if alice in chains play, and fingers crossed down play, but it does suck that most of the bands are shit. but still its early days yet that might change. I really hope there is a good band on the second stage during guns and fucking roses, otherwise i will be going back to the tent early on the sunday night.

Well this is gonna be a huge fucking update, I decided I am gonna start using this more often. Well what have i been doing, my usual stuff like smoking, drinking, working etc.

These are my main events since the last entry.

Driving an old ambulance around for my mates band The Heavy Beatings, broke down on the way home on the darkest 70mph road, had to pull over on the slow lane coz the lights went, then the hazards went so we had cars nearly hitting the ambulance at 80mph...was fucking scary.

Had a few gigs, got some more booked up this year including one in Hartlepool.

Watching the line up for download develop, there are a few good bands, most of em suck.

Went to see the mighty boosh live, wasn't a big fan at first but went to see that and it was the funniest thing i have ever seen, they are both fucking genius.

Had some news that Down are possibly touring Europe this year, i don't care if it isn't england i am going to see them, whatever it takes. Seeing Down live will be one of my dreams fullfilled.

Also I have started going a little crazy, i don't know whether its coz i am happy or my head is going loopy. Like i will start shouting whilst on my own, or run around the house, and even my mates have said i have gone all insane. Anyways

Another thing I have noticed, I am getting noticed more...I walked into my local supermarket a couple of months back and i had some kid run up to me and say "shadow aspect rule". i had never seen him before. That also happened in the tap and tin, and whilst searching the web i found some guys journal entry that read..."saw the guy from shadow aspect"....seems really weird, but i like it.

Right i shall do some more when i think of what else i have done.

It has been another crazy few days in my life. I start my new job a week today which I am well excited about.
Friday was spent playing the local metal festival called Dark Days. We were the first band on of about 7 bands which kinda sucked, but it meant we had no pressure. The sound was awesome, it was like playing in the Astoria with an awesome stage and lighting set up, and pirotechnics for the headlining band, but the cool thing was they gave us some explosions too when we played Panteras Walk.

Saturday was halloween party night, I went as Dimebag Darrell, Lionel went as Gene Simmons from Kiss and craig went as a skeleton. It was fucking crazy, we went to a gig before hand we musta looked well fucking stupid but it was still funny. I drank what must of been a litre of whiskey, about a pint of punch, some vodka melon, some beer, and smoked a few joints.

And finally last night I went to see SAW 2, was thinking all the way till the end, this is worse then Saw 1, then they give u some fucked up crazy twist at the end, even more crazy then the first SAW. I say go and watch it, its dam good.

I have just got home from the pub, so far I have spent the last 5 nights either drunk or high, and I got a cool job...a dam drum teacher...life is so dam good at the moment. I just need some love then it will be even better.

Friday was spent at Lionels getting stoned and drinking Cider, Saturday was spent at the tap and tin, Huw fucking fell off the stage and broke his foot, dumbarse, we then went back to lionels and smoked more weed and drank more cider. Sunday i went to see a band at the Camden Underworld, was awesome, I got well wasted and did some pit action, but it took 3 and a half hours getting back to the car. Monday I took Huw to have his cast done and visit my nan in hospital, then back to lionels and got stoned. Tonight I taught drums for an hour then went to the pub and drank more whiskey.
